Tuner Evolution has made a return trip back to Charlotte, North Carolina for the third time. We could not wait to travel to Charlotte and cover one the most electrifying automotive car shows on the East Coast of the United States. Now for those who may not know, Jay Martinez is the owner and head organizer of Tuner Evo whilst Elliott Powell is the Media Director and Stage Manager.
Sean Carlson made his twelve-hour trip from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to come join myself, Vanny Long, and Hoang Pham to cover the show. It is always a resplendent thing to be able to see friends from different states when you can. I brought along a good friend of mine Jessica Kim to the event. Having her meet some friends from Team RPM/Flawless Fitment, Lyndsie Phommacheing, Trey Devon, Ron McNeil, Elliot Powell, Wilkesboro Crew and more. Hoang was already on the shooting tear outside for VIP roll-in. Many awesome vendors attended the show. Vendors like Takata Racing, Tijin Edition, UTI (Universal Technical Institue), Klean Society, Kure, DankFest, Toyo Tires, Slammedenuff and more.
There were some amazing car builds at the show, and the S2000’s that attended are gorgeous! Robbie Harper (Team Emotion Crew), his S2000 is one of our favorites from the show. Exterior was fitted with a full J’s Racing Type-GT kit, Midnight Purple, and wheel choice are Volk ZE40. Our friend Faiz Rahman (Fortune Auto Director of Marketing and photographer of Super Street Magazine) brought his Global Time Attack styled Lexus IS300 to the show. Resting at the Toyo Tires booth, this monster machine is always a beauty to see at shows. J Pham’s 2JZ-GTE powered Lexus GS400 was also at the Toyo Tires booth. Body nestled with a full Vertex kit. I must admit, this is one of my favorite 4dr sedan’s ever.

The model lineup for Tuner Evolution Charlotte was absolutely stout! Dannie Reil, MickBeth (Elizabeth Perez), Lyane Marie, Laura Ivette, Bear Dellinger, Heather Loveliee, Angela Machado, Jessica Hien, Marie Madore, Anhie Win, and Lizzie Dee. All of these gorgeous ladies were super productive signing posters, taking selfies with fans, talking to their fans and supporters, and getting some awesome shots in with some of the photographers at the show. As I was walking around snapping photos, I noticed how the vibe between the models interacting with their fans and supporters was very down to earth, meaningful, and leaving an everlasting impression. I met with Marie again and chatted with her for a bit, then made my way on over to see my good friend Bear Dellinger. It is always such a pleasure and pure bliss seeing her. My best friend Jacob Ram and I got to talking to Bear, and asked if we wanted to shoot. Of course! Why the hell not? Jacob and I unloaded on the shutter while Bear modeled her beefy SR20DET powered Nissan 240sx (Kouki/S14). She was murdering it! Jessica Kim and Lyndsie Phommacheing were not the official models for the event, but engaged in getting a few shots in at the show.

Towards the end of the show we had two major music performances by Z Rich & Micx Sic followed by Hollow Squad’s Xavier Wulf. Those three gentlemen tore the roof of the Park Expo building! The crowd reception was well received and appreciative to have these men perform for us all. The show was such a massive hit! Nothing but good vibes radiating throughout the show all day. Thank you Jay Martinez and the rest of the Tuner Evolution staff for putting on yet another epic Tuner Evo show! Congratulations to Laura Ivette for winning the Bikini Contest and thank you to rest of the models that participated in the contest. Last but certainly not the least. Congratulations to everyone that won a trophy or more for building a unique car. Third World Society dedicates this to the city of Charlotte and all of its residents, and automotive enthusiast. Until next time Tuner Evolution. Enjoy the photos everyone!
