Keeping it Fresh Down Under Anthony's Sky Blue Impreza Wagon

Today, we are bringing you a feature from down under! Thanks to Vinh Mangalino (@vinhmangalino) out in the Aus family for this amazing photoset. Anthony Sammut owns this ’06 Impreza wagon and lives in the beautiful city of Melbourne. He got tired of all the stock subies in the area so got to building around a year ago.

This Impreza wagon is aggressive and has an amazing road presence, shoutout to Vinh for capturing the essence of it in his always dope rollers.  Bez Media also caught some epic shots of this machine in our recent short:

Anthony has owned the car for around 8 years now but he just recently started making some big changes. This was Anthony’s first car so he knew he couldn’t just sell it off and instead decided to give it life and make it his first serious build. Like every other build, he didn’t expect it to get this far, and also like most, he’s far from finished.

Anthony’s subie is wrapped in 3M Sky Blue and sitting on Cosmis Racing XT206R’s (18×11 / 18/265/35) with an AirLift Performance V2 kit. There is just something about the way a properly lowered wagon sits that I love so much and Anthony’s stance hits that mark. It really complements the wagon’s shape and road presence which is why this Impreza looks so amazing cruising.

As far as the interior goes, Anthony has fixed back bride seats, custom gauges, custom center dash, blacked out Wrx cluster, full stereo system with a Likewise Rod Stewart and Neil Diamond shifter, and a Likewise handbrake button to add some flare. While we don’t currently have any shots for you, we assure you that the interior is just as aesthetically pleasing as the exterior. Anthony doesn’t go overboard with his mods to keep things clean and the color scheme keeps it fresh. I think that’s why we like his build so much.

Anthony is rocking Karlton flares modified to fit his wagon, HT Auto sideskirts and rear extensions. The wicked combination of the Chargespeed front lip and the E-wing Aero Designs custom front splitter is what makes the front end look so damn mean. Anthony’s next area of improvement is under the hood. For 2017, he’s planning a BEAST of an engine build to push the car’s performance to the same heights as it’s looks.
